Asheville's Art Scene Visits Hendersonville

This weekend, art enthusiasts in Hendersonville, North Carolina, have a final chance to enjoy some Asheville flavor without having to venture beyond their own city limits. Saturday, June 20th, is the last day to catch the River District Artists Show. Presented by the Arts Council of Henderson County, this is the first collective exhibit for the artists outside of the district and is a wonderful tribute to the power of regional collaboration.

The River Arts District in Asheville is quickly growing and becoming a major presence in Western North Carolina. Home to countless artist studios that cover every imaginable medium, the district welcomes visitors who are eager to see creative minds put their imaginations to work in the form of painting, textiles, sculpture, photography, silversmithing, and more. The Hendersonville exhibit, located in the Neill Gallery at 528 North Main Street, represents a broad spectrum of artists who work together to support one another's crafts, a partnership that has carried over to merge the Asheville and Hendersonville art scenes.

Both cities thrive with distinctive cultures that value intellect, creativity, and expression. Hendersonville and Asheville are home to artists who are not only wonderful local contributors but also nationally-recognized pioneers in their field. In fact, it is not uncommon for your neighbors to be throwing pots or working on their next book, and Fox Run Preserve, a premiere gated community in Hendersonville, is eager to continue the tradition of offering a unique lifestyle.

Set among the forested acres of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Fox Run Preserve features amenities that provide residents with the most inspiring scenes in the region. From the abundant mountain laurel and the tranquil Crane Pond to the long range mountain views and the orchard, it is no wonder that Hendersonville real estate is so appealing to art connoisseurs. Ideally located minutes from downtown Hendersonville and a short drive from Asheville, residents have the opportunity to enjoy cultural events that celebrate the community's originality. And when you buy a homesite at Fox Run Preserve, you gain the opportunity to enjoy a lifestyle that is unique to Western North Carolina.
