Celebrate Spring in Hendersonville
This weekend, Asheville and Hendersonville are coming alive with spring, and the forecasted warm temperatures are sure to enhance the area's many events and activities. Just minutes from gated community Fox Run Preserve, Jackson Park will kick off Hendersonville's Easter celebrations with an egg hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny. The park, which covers 212 acres and neighbors downtown, is a wonderful destination for families and area residents seeking a place to spend time outdoors. And if the outdoors is what you are interested in, Fox Run Preserve is a great destination, too. And with Hendersonville homesites on the brink of blooming into spring, the community is more beautiful than ever.
The wider Asheville area is getting into the Easter and spring spirit, too, and there are plenty of activities to choose from this upcoming three-day weekend. Consider treating yourself to a decadent Easter brunch at roux, the Hilton Asheville's onsite restaurant in Biltmore Park Town Square. Featuring a brunch buffet and pick and choose items like French toast, a broken yolk sandwich, warm peach tart, and more, roux's menu is sure to have something you'll enjoy.
After brunch, consider continuing your Easter and spring celebrations at the Biltmore Estate. Their famous Festival of Flowers begins on Saturday, and plenty of blossoms are already budding and ready to delight onlookers. You'll see daffodils, witch hazel, Korean rhododendron, crocuses, and many more. The gardens are already breathtaking, and the weather this weekend will make it an ideal time for a visit.
If you're more interested in Asheville's wild flora and fauna, visiting Fox Run Preserve is a good idea, too.
