Historic Hendersonville Street Dancing

For over 90 years downtown historic Hendersonville has carried on a tradition of street celebrations which honors the heritage of music and traditional mountain dance.  Originated in 1918 to honor World War I veterans, this event takes place every Monday, from July 11th through August 15th, between 8:00 p.m. and 10 p.m., in downtown Hendersonville.  This ongoing tradition features live music accompanied with square dancing and clogging.

Less than 10 minutes away from downtown Historic Hendersonville sits Fox Run Preserve.  This community has miles of trails, a fishing pond, meadows, and long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  For more information call 828-329-9777 or complete an online contact form to receive more information.
