Celebrating in the streets has long been a part of the region's culture. Beginning in 1918, residents welcoming soldiers back from war filled the streets of Hendersonville. Street Dances have been a part of the downtown landscape ever since, and this year, if you can't get enough of Music on Main Street, you may want to continue the celebration on Monday nights with live music and street dancing, running July 6-August 31 from 7-9 p.m. Fox Run Preserve's location also allows for an easy commute to major music festivals in Asheville, Atlanta, and other surrounding areas.
